Measuring a massive 16 ft 5 inches tall and a whopping 11 ft 5 inches wide, the enormous box of Thornton’s chocolates is filled with a mouthwatering selection of treats weighing in at around 1,500kg. In my picture the 175,000 individually wrapped Thorntons Moments are actually scattered on the floor – no idea why. I heart Thornton’s

As most of you know by now, I am now godmom to two gorgeous little boys…Jovan & Joel. I’ve not sent anything for the birth and Jovan, whilst Joel’s 2nd birthday is coming up in the next two months. To be honest, I am not a very motherly person, but the one thing I love buying are baby clothes – probably most people as well. Its just too ee ee cute!!

I can’t really find any australian sites with really nice baby clothes, but by chance stumbled upon this online store selling baby clothes. It’s just too damn cute!!I especially like the baby girl dresses – unfortunately my good friend had not popped a girl out yet…heheh *hint hint* Mag.

Another site that I really like is the Jelly baby site – look at the sit and ride mouse!! OMG its so cute I wanna sit on it! Maybe its just my fate being surrounded by preggers people…bacon’s friends are popping out babies like no tomorrow. At work, I am taking over the place of someone who will be off on maternity. She in turn, took over from someone who left on maternity in April. It’s like a seat of fertility or something..sheehs..

Digressing again. Anyway, if anyone know of a good australian site to buy baby clothes, let me know ya! And magges, let me know if there’s anything in particular you like/need – remember, its a gift from me to the boys, not from me to you k!!

Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock Building Society in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan .

In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.

Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.

Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.

**hmm…I wonder which one is my company??**

…but why would anyone want to build this?

Spotted at a pub in Penrith by yours truly. And for the record, I like going to the toilet alone.

I like pencils. I’ve always preferred pencils to pens..probably because I always feel the need to correct myself. Thank god for computers…

Anyhoo. For those unaware, I live very close to the world’s largest pencil (64 ft) – where else but in Bolehland Malaysia. And here is the place that claims to have the ‘WORLDS LARGEST colored PENCIL’. Note the colored in fine print. Its about 2m+,but the pencil in Malaysia (in the Faber Castell factory) is about 4 storeys high. Hah! Bite me, Cumberland Pencil Museum!

It costs £2.50 per person to wander about the Keswick Pencil Museum, which comes with a free pencil. Utterly silly, but you do learn some facts – lead(graphite) was ‘apparenty’ first discovered in Keswick and that the best food to use for pencils are Californian cedar. During WW2, pencils were sent to concentration camps for the POWs; inside it only contained a short lead. The rest of the pencil was actually stuffed with a small map, and underneath the rubber was a small compass. How cool was that!

Seriously…this is their world’s largest pencil. Those who had ever used the highway to get to KLIA would see the 4 storey high pencil on the side of the highway.

Color your life

PS: Apparently bolehland’s record have been broken, there is now a 76ft pencil in New York!!Theoretically, this was unveiled just after my trip – so it does not count! Hahahah…
