It’s now week 7, and I hope you’ve enjoyed the virtual tour through Sydney (and NSW!) that www.sourrain.com have brought you. Week 6 (the very very last!!) is all about playing tourguide in NSW, and here is where I need your opinion peeps!!!! What have you enjoyed most so far in my journey throughout Sydney & NSW?
Or is there something that you think I’ve missed? What would be a perfect takeaway for you to start your journey to Sydney, what have inspired you the most in my little project?
Here are more links of the interesting activities/places that I have not managed to touched on in my 6 weeks in Sydney – perhaps you would like me to elaborate on these instead?
* Try Paddle Surfing
* Visit the Bondi Icebergs Club
* Cuddle a Koala
* Enjoy classic pub fare and ales at the Lord Nelson
* STA’s suggestions
Forgot where I’ve taken you in the past 6 weeks? Here are where we’ve been. For a reality check, here is my travelblog from my trip to Sydney in 2006 (ignore the Melbourne bits
).
Go on then, TELL ME!

Comment by sourrain 09.20.09 @ 8:53 pmI’d mention the seamier sides of Sydney but then again, this is a family blog…..
Pub ale at the Lord Nelson works for me. Or any beer at any Australian Armed Forces Association place would work too. Went to one in Canberra and a drank beer with Australian Vietnam War vets. I had a blast.

Jean marie: I think with Sydney one will never run out of ideas or things to see to be honest!
Comment by sourrain 09.21.09 @ 8:07 amI have really enjoyed being part of this whole competition… I knew nothing about Sydney apart from the Bridge and the Opera house, before. I loved the fashion and culture challenges the most, I really want to visit Sydney now!

Comment by Ben 09.21.09 @ 10:37 amKatie: It’s amazing how much you can learn about Sydney in 6 weeks without even setting foot there – the thing is, getting involved with this project would make you a better and more efficient tourist when you do land in Sydney!
Louise/Ben: Welcome:). Week 6 is all about playing tour guide – I hope you’ll find my publication useful – watch this space for Wednesday!

. Anyway, will think of your requirement when I work on my tour guide..
A group holiday to Sydney? Sure, let’s do a group Honeymoon to Sydney la.. HAHAHA
Comment by dreymer 09.23.09 @ 4:46 amdrey: we just need to make sure that we all bring our gadgets with us, then we’ll get along just fine
I loved it how we were so paranoid on leaving our gadgets behind that we took everything with us for the short walk to the waterfall
I don’t believe that you’re really going to move your honeymoon destination to Sydney from the Gold Coast! How fab! You will definately enjoy yourself – the ambient temperature’s perfect.
