Awesome tour of Sydney Challenge W.3 – Version 2

Hokay people – Challenge 1 had seen me use tea, sandwiches, beer & sausages. Challenge 2 had me use non-food related items (can’t see myself in an edible top!) , but following 1000 heads’ example of mashed-potato opera house, I am returning back to food!

The requirement is I take a picture in front of the recreated monument. I have a crazy idea of eating something when I’m in the picture…Think kangaroo steak in front of the Opera House and you won’t be far off from my proposal.

So I am needing your help peeps. Peas. Pretty peas with a cherry on top. I can’t decide on what to EAT…so would appreciate it very much if you could comment on what is your favourite food that can be found in Sydney. I am thinking wine, but hey, thats just me…

I might be able to reuse this if there is a Food Challenge sometime in the future – so this may potentially be killing two birds with one stone!

C’mon now – Sydney+Food = Your Comments Below Please!

… Send me back here …

No clue what’s going on?

This is WHY I’m doing this, this was Week 1′s submission (fabulously funny!), this was Week 2′s submission (undeniably chic) and this is Week 3′s challenge.

And click here to have a look at was what the good people at 1000 heads created – Cheesier than a welsh rarebit!!

Come join in the fun!

Grill your own steak at the pub! With some of that gunky potatoe salad on the side and a schooner! ( That was what I lived on in Canberra!)

One thing that you definitely can’t get in Leeds would be good Vietnamese noodles so I’d recommend that. A good pho-soup noodle dish these days is as Aussie as a meat pie. :)

moo: Thats a very very good point…Not to mention that I super love pho…the only time I can have pho if I can get off my bum and make the stock myself…four hours of boiling…

Not really-it just had LOTS of mayo.

Comment by Skippy-san 08.22.09 @ 6:06 am

Skipps: So just really mayo & boiled potatoes?

I really fancy a potato salad now – with bits of capers..pepper..

But the pub was stumbling distance from my hotel-and they served food till 10 which helped because I was working weird hours.

Plus it allowed me to use the “I’ve got to get some dinner” excuse as a reason get drunk! :-)

drey: WHAT???? Did the rain in Karambunai turned u bonkers?

Skipps: When did you ever need a reason to get sloshed? ;)
