I have been in a state of discontent ever since failing to resusitate my poor iPod last month. Other than that, I have also been looking into getting a portable dvd player, a DSLite and hard disk to backup my pictures. I had also investigated Kindle – the Amazon bookreading hardware, but that’s only available in the US at the moment. That is alot of gadgets for one person, not to mention EXPENSIVE!

However, thanks to:

1) Bacon kindly offering me £110 worth in vouchers that he won (awww)
2) Stupid Elvin peer pressuring me
3) My own itchy fingers
4) Impending good news that I WILL receive a bonus after all, ableit a tiny one

I have gone over to the dark side and got me this baby.

Blog, meet miPod

I.am.so.in.love. I even blogged from it yesterday, but accidentally turned it off when I was looking for the publish button! How bimbostic was that? Love the wifi, although free public wifi is hard to come by in the UK unless I camp out at McDonalds. But this now means that I can happily surf the internet whilst at the in-laws’ place, rather than staring into space ;) . And also instead of bringing my laptop to the throne…erm.Ignore that…

Anyway, have not really played with it that much, although I have uploaded my whole cd collection there. Not really a hard task, considering I had most of it previously anyway on my old itunes. If I get bored I might start on bacon’s gazillion cds (he used to be a DJ, thus the abnormally large collection). Next step is to investigate uploading movies – imagine me on the bus, watching chinese serials!!

Will re-post once I have had the opportunity to fully utilise my new friend:)

I must admit – I take mine to the throne sometimes. :P

AHHAAH!

I know of *someone* who only writes me emails from the throne :)

That aside, I am so used to technology that I find it strange when I actually buy newspapers! I prefer reading my papers online – minus the carbon (yay for reading papers in the bed), half the time because you can just click on what you like instead of flipping through. And no bacon to snatch with.
