I was in Hong Kong in August of 2004 in Lan Kwai Fong, lusting after a girl in a pink dress.

I was the drunk guy stumbling into a cab mumbling “Joe Bananas-Wanchai!”

Seriously I was there in Aug 2004. Small world. I’ll bet you guys hung out in better bars than I did though………….

What a small world . It was a girls-on-the-road sort of trip…ahh..those were the days:).

Went past Joe Bananas but did not actually go in.We had ‘local knowledge’…so got to go to numerous clubs/bars…started on Thurs by ladies’ night at Bar George and went on and on….we must’ve covered about 30 clubs/bars by the end of the weekend. I couldn’t even find some of them the next time I went back as they were all up hidden alleys and what nots…

I miss the fragant harbour….this reminiscing is gonna make me cry!!!

Those were the good ol’ bar hopping days! So carefree! My gosh, it was so damn fun lor. I never had so much vodka red bull since then!

I’ve not been to so many clubs/bars ever since, nor drink as many vodka redbulls as well! Remember at the last bar (coyote ugly??) we walked past andI just randomly ran in for a shot of vodka!!?? And I ran back out again…while u just waited outside! We must bring a bottle of vodka to perhentian then. Ahh..

I think the HK trip is one of the greatest ever – before all this ‘responsibilities’ falls on my lap.HK is never the same without you there! And it will never compare to other trips, so I shall not even try.

Joe Bananas has gone downhill from its glory days. I was last there in May of 08 and the only women in there were a few drunk expat girls and a whole lot of “sales professionals”.

Not that is such a bad thing.
