Being me, on wednesday I was asking around the office about how many inches of snow would we need before a snow day was declared.
Waking up on thursday morning, I trudged to the bus stop admist the very thick snow. Within 5 minutes, someone has come down the road telling us that the roads have been closed and no cars OR buses are going either way. YAY! I rushed home and made myself a tea before txting my boss…who had been stuck in a bus for an hour. No buses ran up my road until the very next day, which really gave me a snowed in day! Admittedly, the snow (well, most of it) had melted by 2pm….by which I had gotten bored of refreshing the public transport website and had fallen asleep. Not much point getting a bus in at 2 something anyway…by the time I get into work it would have been after 3.30pm

My neighbour walking her two dogs.

More…I love snow settled on the fence…it stays clean rather than all mucky with dirt.

This was from a few days before….when it was freezing but not snowing. Cool, innit? Ignore the fact that my house is decorated with cobwebs
