drey: i think u starting to sound more excited than me!! HAhaah! Yah, no mint nor pineapple,but there is chilli & onion. I am now very motivated to make my own hup leong laksa, so watch this space! Lucky I have mint plant,so can just go outside and sapu! Could not find heh koh though over the weekend…grrr.

I dont dare to eat the satay here…its more like kebab ler,everyone does satay.Konon ler..

Thats the thing about living in Mel – Asian food galore! Altho speaking of which, the best places I have tasted char kuey teow are

1) China Bar (Box Hill, VIC)
2) Chinta Ria (Syd, NSW)

Now for my quest to get the best satay in town and I am set

Actually the nasi lemak looks quite ok. Can see the onions and ikan bilis. Not bad also, got FRIED EGG. The egg looks lazy.

But the Asam Laksa don’t look appetizing. Like so GREEN and BROWN. Must have some red chili, peppermint leaves, red onion and pineapple to make it look more EXCITING. Tell them. Got fill up the suggestion form or not????
