Today is my first day at my new job.

Today as I walked through the revolving door of my new office, I was also stung by a bee

I had never been stung by bees. On contrary, I hate them with a vengence. Sure, anyone looks cute in a bee suit on Halloween, but I hate actual bees. However, the fil actually used to breed bees, extracting honey from the bees. Weird isn’t it? Now he has a WORMERY insted. WORM-ERY. A tub where worms reproduce. I am not sure what he uses it for,but I think he uses it to fertilize his garden.

Anyway,back to my oh-so-f**king-exciting news

As I walked through the door, I just felt an extremely piercing pain on my right forearm. The next 5 seconds went by on slow motion, as I slowly went from:

1) I think I have been scratched by a nail
2) Hey, there is no blood,but a prick (pun not intended)
3) I see a thorn on my arm, no, it’s not a thorn
4) Bacon once told me that if a bee sting you it’s stinger will fall off
5) Hmmm
6) Upon arrival at reception,” HELP ME!!!I HAVE BEEN STUNG”

Thinking I was in anaphylactic shock (extreme reaction to bee stings) , the reception went into a panicked frenzy, offering to call me an ambulance and sitting me behind their counter. No one really knew what to do, so I rang bacon, who told me to get some vineger and scrape whatever remained of the venom on my arm.

To be honest, I was more in unbelievable shock that I was stung rather than the sting itself. It also hurt like hell, miles worse than the arm-chewing tattoo or my phobia of donating blood. After compressing my arm with vineger for a good 1 hour, it still kinda hurts, and to be honest, it still feels prickly now, after 12 hours, but at least the swelling has gone down. As my new boss came to get me, the security guard, bless his heart, told me to just let them know if I need to call an ambulance at any time.

What a wonderful start to a first day. I can honestly say I cannot remember any of my other first days.

I still hate bees.
