I have been to many a beaches as you’d probably noticed; its my secret happy place. Maybe it’s a womb complex (I was, after all, born on an island and both my parents grew up next to the sea), but I am never happier than when lazing on the beach; unless I was off fish-watching. Or better still – I heart sharks! Thanks to SH who dragged me along to his island trips, the additiction is contagious.
Ibiza, the island of love and hedonism, has, suprisingly, one of the most beautiful waters in the world (in my opinion). Clear turquoise waters is it’s gift to the world, with deep blue cloudless skies. The clearness of the water is amazing seeing that it is quite a commercialized island with superclubs and uneducated tourist who pollute the seas.I expected the murky seas of Penang, or at best, Pangkor or Langkawi where commercialization had taken it’s irreversible toll, but what I got was a clear visibility of as far as I dared to swim – waters were around 10 degrees celcius. There were fishes swimming everywhere, but no noteworthy coral fishes as I do not think they have corals around that area. Even then, the clear transparent waters more than compensated for it.

Welcome! Bacon’s self-timed picture. He will NOT be pleased to see this here

Cala Bassa’s pristine views over to San Antonio – our fav beach for its golden sands, swimmable 10 c waters and ice cream vendor. Some guy tried to con me 5EURO for a slice of watermelon though – which I promptly refused to pay and walked away – eventually parted with 2 EURO for it.See, it doesn’t only happen in the streets of Chatuchak or Petaling St!!

Another view of Cala Bassa – in my opinion, best beach on the whole island. We lazed there 3 pleasant afternoons. It is easily reachable by bus from San Antonio, but we went on our trusty little chariot.

The pristine waters that seduced us.Do not hate me because I have pretty feet:)

Beach in front of the hotel. Not as nice with dried leaves flying everywhere and broken twigs and seaweed sprinking the waters, but still clear pristine water as you wade deeper.

Even here at the San Antonio Bay – so close to the main drag, the water is still transparent halfway up my thighs.

Sen Hon – other than the missing colorful fishes, not bad eh the visibility?

Swim away in my fav bikini- it was 10 degrees waters.

Cala Gracionetta; just minutes away from the hedonistic San Antonio lies this gem of a paradise.

Cala Gracionetta’s transparent beauty. Not Cala Gracio, it’s Gracionetta. And yes, they are different.

The amazing Platja Comte with a chilled out sunset bar and naked men sunbathing and playing catch with dogs.

Shame about the jellyfishes – we didn’t stop long. They look like sea coconut drink – don’t you think?

Have you noticed that I am always running after him on my little useless feet?

The Café Del Mar’s sunset strip beach in the day.Not much of a beach as a bunch of rocks

San Antonio’s main beach – a little polluted but still a pale blue color.

One of the beaches up north of the island – my memory is fading – will update when I peek at my map later

Happy blue skies with sandy feet
Ok – what next? Following dreybee’s example of interractive blogging, I will blog whatever you choose. The nude(females only, sorry), the streets, the weird and pretty or the sunsets? For pix of me in nude, RM0.20 each per entrance please

There’s something about being tipsy on a beach. I love it!
Very nice weather and bloody beautiful the place.
20c? That’s cheap! I vote for the “weird and pretty”. I can wait for the “nudes”. Woohoo!
Comment by mooiness 05.15.07 @ 7:54 ammoo: I paid for it at night..sun+alcohol=very hot body.
Nice hor the place.I did not imagine it could be so unpolluted and nice..it was a very good suprise.Maybe it would get really bad in the July peak season, with noisy dirty teenagers teeming the island.
Ok! will keep in mind ur vote!
Comment by sourrain 05.15.07 @ 10:25 amSigh….I miss the beach too. Browsing through your pics reminds me of Perhentian. Your pic with a slight buttcrack was a real bonus too.
Visibility sure is superb. Just nice to show of your pedicure eh?
Come back soon so we can revisit the past at Moonlight chalets ya!
Comment by Sen Hon 05.15.07 @ 12:37 pmYea, here I am, half awake-half asleep when I pop on over to Sourrain’s place to immediately read, ” The tits will be out soon”, and “Nice buttcrack!” Yea-that got my attention!
And we won’t even comment on the tattoo……..
I’m awake now. And hungry. Looks like good Paella and beer. Any San Magoos in that stack?
You do know that part of going to Spain is dancing till dawn don’t you?
Comment by Skippy-san 05.15.07 @ 12:42 pmAiyo

:/
Yes,the visibility is fantastic isn’t it??Like so bloody clear the water..I want to go back to Moonlight too.I miss miss it…mars milkshake and stupid vodka drinking under the stars. We shall hunt for sharks like we used to do again..sleeping in our hammocks and showering in the toilet that cannot lock. And resisting kaptain’s attempt to get us to go midnight snorkelling…:/
SIGH.
Comment by sourrain 05.15.07 @ 12:44 pmRaunchy la. I think you may need to put a link to NetNanny or warning of adult content on your blog. LOL.
Yes, moonlight’s a’callin’!! They’ve recently renovated the restaurant area and it looks superb now. Even have a small chillout area with a tv to just laze around on a hot scorching day. Very nice.
Comment by Sen Hon 05.15.07 @ 3:56 pmI can’t staring at the scenic photos. The water is so……..clean! Would like to go there one day
Comment by simmie 05.15.07 @ 5:16 pmThe adventure of Mili’s feet! i see that’s your style nowadays huh…
The beach very nice leh… makes me feel lazy. I want to see some pictures of hot mamasitas! And yeah, nice butt crack!
Skipps: The dancing till dawn only works if I wasn’t on an island full of geriatics
.And San Magoos? £1 per pint – nearly as cheap as Manila:D.
SH: You doin PR for Moonlight isit? I am so hoping I will be able to go Perhentian too.I still dream about it occasionally no matter how far I travel.
simmie: I was going to say that Catalina Island off CA is not bad as well, but then I remembered that I saw it burning in the news whilst in spain.:/. But if you are going back to Msia in June; lovely season for Perhentian – my paradise on earth.
SiaoKia: I have been taking feet/beach pictures since 2004 la..old already. I find it the best example to see how high the visibility of the water is. I make sure I take at least one feet-in-water picture per trip. And don go and buttcrack with SH too ok..this site is not 18SX!
maggsie: hugz. take care. it is strange, but I shall miss you until you get back into the routine of blogging/emailing again.
