I bitch about hicksville way too much. I bitch about the weather, the people, the shops, the jobs, the small town minds, the food..I didn’t realize I was such a bitch until I move here.

Living in hicksville is not as bad as it looks. True, there are things that I absolutely abhor ( living in a small city, minute variety of job roles, consistently the only non-indian and non-white face in the village) but there are things that I absolutely abhor about KL as well (stupid politicians, hopeless government, rude customer service).I had not conciously started a hate campaign against hicksville, you always bitch about the things you have and love the things that you do not have – the grass is always greener on the other side.True, I could do much better career wise if I moved to a big city, but I would be condemned in living in a tiny dodgy flat due to escalating house prices in London.

I had asked friends to visit me here in hicksville,and I always get one answer in return. Why would they want to come visit if I seem to hate it so much and there never seem to be anything to do around here? Me doing the masak-masak series and planting up a storm of flowers and veggies is not enough. I am not doing myself any favours by de-moting hicksville, therefore I am starting a loveleeds campaign!
